Classification of cross arms:
According to the material, it can be divided into iron cross arms, porcelain cross arms, and synthetic insulated cross arms;
According to the purpose, the cross arms can be divided into cross arms for lines of 10KV and below, such as single pole cross arms, door pole cross arms, carrying arms, lead cross arms, etc.And assembled cross arms (straight line, corner and tensile strength) for lines of 35KV and above, etc.
The hardware for auxiliary installation of the cross arm includes M iron, cross arm connecting plate, support foot, bending plate, hoop, single-head bolt, double-head bolt, nails, etc.

The linear cross arm is only used to bear the vertical load and horizontal load of the conductor under normal unbroken conditions;
The tensile cross arm is used to bear not only the vertical and horizontal loads of the conductors, but also the tension difference of the conductors;
The corner cross arm is used to bear not only the vertical and horizontal loads of the conductors, but also the larger unilateral conductor tension.
According to the stress of the cross arm, single cross arms are used for straight bars or corner bars below 15 degrees, while double cross arms are used for corner bars, tension bars, terminal bars, and branch bars with angles between 15 and 45 degrees. The above corner poles, tension poles, terminal poles and branch poles adopt cross arms.
Cross arms are generally installed 200mm away from the top of the pole. Linear cross arms should be installed on the power receiving side, and cross arms of corner poles, terminal poles, and branch poles should be installed on the cable side.

Single pole cross arm
The main raw material is equilateral angle steel, and its specifications are named according to the size of the angle steel and the length of the cross arm, such as: ∠63×6×1800. It is used for the installation of single poles in transmission lines of 10kV and below. According to the installation, it is divided into single cross arm and double cross arm. Single pole single cross arm mainly consists of cross arm, U-shaped hoop and M pad iron (some poles also have support legs and support leg hoops); single pole double cross arm mainly consists of cross arm, stud bolts and M pad iron. composition.
