Wedge clamp is a non-load-bearing connecting fitting used in power distribution systems.
Wedge-type cable clamps can be divided into cable clamps, bolt-type tension clamps, hydraulic tension-resistant clamps, and explosion-type tension clamps.

The following points should be noted when installing wedge clamps:
1. After calculating and determining the length of the steel strands as needed, cut the upper handle and the lower handle respectively, and use wedge-shaped wire clamps to fix and tie the two ends of the upper handle and the connection end between the lower handle and the suspension insulator.
2. The tongue plate of the wedge-shaped cable clamp should be in close contact with the guy wire, and there should be no slippage after being stressed. The protrusion of the cable clamp is on the tail line side. The wire strands should not be damaged during installation, and there should be no obvious loose strands in the bending part of the guy wire.
3. Malleable iron bodies, accessories and all ferrous metal fasteners shall be hot dip galvanized.
4. The strength of the bolt-type tension clamp is not less than 105% of the calculated breaking force of the conductor, or meets the buyer's requirements; the strength of the tension earring is not less than 65% of the calculated breaking force of the conductor.
5. The strength of the compressed tension clamp steel anchor (non-compressed part) is not less than 105% of the calculated breaking force of the conductor or meets the buyer's requirements.
6. The compressed tension clamp diversion plate adopts hydrogen arc welding. The welding seam should be evenly shaped like fish scales. No pores, cracks, missing welds and other defects are allowed. The welding seam height should comply with the drawing requirements.
7. The surface of the aluminum tube should not have defects such as cracks, scratches, peeling, and bruises.
8. The surface of the aluminum plate should be smooth and without scratches, the cutting edge should be chamfered and dethorned, and the electrical contact surface should not be bitten during welding.
